Dane Hess opened the meeting at 7:05 pm Item 1: Election for Chair, 1st Vice Chair and 2nd Vice Chair positions on the Council Board (paper vote ballots, 4 volunteer counters) Chair candidates: Turner Bitton, Van Turner, and Jay Ingleby Result: Turner Bitton won by clear margin on first ballot. 1st Vice Chair candidates: Ashley King, Dixie Carter (declined) Result: Ashley King won by acclamation 2nd Vice Chair candidates: Latu Patetefa Ryan Curtis (declined), Amy Jordan (declined) Result: Latu Patetefa won by acclamation The Secretary position vacated by Turner Bitton will be elected at next month’s meeting. Item 2: Sean Martin – Sorenson Campus New locker rooms are being constructed. Pool is open and will undergo repairs at end March. Item 3: Josh Rebollo – Mayor’s office Reminder about the anti‐idling ordinance. Census 2020 is still hiring go to 2020census.gov/jobs Item 4: Andrew Johnston ‐ City Council District 2 3 Creeks Park will be completed this summer. Waterpark still in limbo. Improved #9 Bus Route – showing improved ridership and bus stop upgrades are in progress. Residents encouraged to support affordable housing issues during legislative session.
