Turner opened the meeting at 7:00 pm, meeting adjourned at 7:58 pm. Item 1: Election for Secretary position on the GCC Board –postponed till March meeting. Item 2: Detective Eldon Oliver – Salt Lake City Police Department Aware of 1700 S RV parking problem. Crime statistics are at the lowest point in 5 year average but be aware. Jordan River is being patrolled through funding by Salt Lake City Parks. Item 3: Chad Jepperson – Salt Lake City Fire Department Station 14 Fire Department is in hiring season. The online application deadline is March 31. Reminder about the anti‐idling ordinance. David Troester - Urban Treehouse Proposed removing the Urban Treehouse at Bend in the River due to increased vagrant activity. Apparently Salt Lake City Open Lands and Parks are in favor but also have some ideas for the space. Some people spoke about the significant community investment in the early years of the project. A vote was not held on the proposal because input is needed from University of Utah Bennion Center / University Neighborhood Partners. Feedback & Announcements
