The Glendale neighborhood, through the Glendale Community Council has approved a new community plan designed to promote civic engagement and community improvement. Residents of Glendale voted at the May 19th meeting of the Glendale Community Council to approve a new plan, called the One Glendale Plan. The plan addresses several topics of community interest and outlines recommendations for how the community council engage residents to address issues. The One Glendale Plan is the result of a yearlong planning process led by Lily Marie Oswald and Brandon Siracuse, students from the University of Utah who led the planning process during an internship with the Glendale Community Council. As a result of their work on the project, Lily and Brandon received the 2021 Best Professional Project Award from the Department of City and Metropolitan Planning at the University of Utah. ![]()
