A native Utahn, Turner fell in love with public service at a very young age. Turner’s life has been defined by a commitment to the people around him and he spends his time in service to his community. Driven by a deep sense of compassion and justice, Turner believes in the power of bringing people together to solve complex problems. He is recognized as a leader and serves on the board of directors of over a dozen nonprofit organizations as well as in appointed positions in local and state government.

Originally from the midwest, Jenny has lived in Salt Lake City since 2013 and in Glendale since 2016. • Jennifer Madrigal

    Jennifer Madrigal

    AT-LARGE BOARD MEMBER

Jennifer was born in Utah but grew up in Southern California, returning for a brief stint in high school, and again in 2017 with the start of graduate school at the University of Utah. She has lived in Glendale since 2019 and has always felt at home here. As someone passionate about involvement with the local community, following the trajectory of academia in the sciences has been a struggle for her, as students are expected to make long-distance moves every few years while in training. As such, she is now staying firmly planted in the Glendale neighborhood to pursue activities that will make positive differences in the quality of life of ALL residents. Finally being able to maintain a vegetable garden for a full season is an extra bonus!
